When should I book my newborn session?
Please contact me by the time baby is 9-10 months old. I can occasionally accommodate a last minute session, but typically I book up at least a month or two in advance.How long will the session last?
Your session will last up to 90 minutes (usually 60 minutes).
How does a cake smash session look like?
1. First we will take some beautiful portraits of your birthday girl or boy in their clean outfit or if your child doesn't mind getting dressed, bring along a separate outfit. I have some large 'O''N''E' and 'T''W''O' letters to include.
2. We will then change outfit and bring in the birthday cake and the fun (and mess) will begin! Be prepared that baby will not want to be near the cake. One tip is to show them the cake beforehand. Have it out on the counter, so it's just part of the kitchen.
3. We will then finish off by sitting your little one in a tub with a little water and we'll blow some bubbles, these make for some fun images also.
